Description
At the end of this activity, students should be able to: – state the conditions under which bodies can float in liquids and gases – calculate the part of a homogenous body which is submerged below the surface of a liquid – explain why bodies of a particular shape which are made of a substance with a greater density than a liquid, can still float in the liquid – explain the difference in the movement of a ship on the surface and a submarine.
