Description
At the end of this activity, students should be able to: – mention the most important chemical elements which make up the Earth's crust – give the names of minerals that contain iron, aluminium, titanium and copper and write their chemical formulae – predict, on the basis of the reactivity series of the metals, whether a given metal can displace another metal from its compounds – discuss the methods for metal extraction from ores.
