Description
At the end of this activity, students should be able to: – explain how to describe the position of a body and define a frame of reference – give definitions for: path of motion, distance, and displacement – calculate speed and velocity, and determine the differences and similarities between the concepts – give examples of units of velocity; note this differs form above (speed) – describe average and instantaneous velocities and give examples of each – graphically determine the vector of resultant velocity.
