Description
At the end of this activity, students should be able to: – explain how waves carry energy – explain the concept of a mechanical wave, wavelength, frequency and amplitude – calculate the wavelength (of a specific frequency) in a specific medium when the velocity of wave propagation in this medium is given – describe the behaviour of a wave when it passes from one medium to another.
