Description
At the end of this activity, students should be able to: – illustrate the structure of solids and describe their characteristic properties using the concept of particles – determine the hardness of a solid body on the basis of its behaviour in relation to Mohs' hardness scale for minerals – describe the differences in the structure of matter in its different physicalstates (distance between particles, forces of attraction, energy of particles, mobility of particles).
