Description
At the end of this activity, students should be able to: – state the purpose of indicators – determine the pH of a solution using an indicator – determine the acidity or alkalinity of a solution using the pH scale – indicate the colours corresponding to alkaline, neutral and acidic solutions on the pH scale – identify strong and weak acids and strong and weak alkalis on the basis of the pH value of their solutions – discuss the applications of pH measurements.
