Description
At the end of this activity, students should be able to: – use mass spectra to determine the relative molecular mass of a compound – discuss the stability of fragmentation ions – predict the most probable fragmentation patterns – recognise the spectra of chlorine– and bromine–containing compounds – use mass spectra for the identification of organic compounds.
