Description
At the end of this activity, students should be able to: – explain what is the Milky Way – describe the structure of the Galaxy – name the different types of galaxies – describe the position of the Earth and the Sun in the Universe – state Hubble's Law – state the basic observations that indicate that the Universe is expanding – describe the different cosmological models: close, open and flat.
