At the end of this activity, students should be able to: – describe the work parameters of an electrical appliance – calculate the energy absorbed by a given device when its power and working time are given, and estimate the cost of the energy – read and interpret the data displayed by an electricity meter – determine the power of a device given the readings of the electricity meter – interpret the information on the energy consumption label of a given device.
